Your system is assembled, configured, updated, checked for proper cooling and fan operation, and tested before it is marked complete.

When the build is finished, you’ll receive a notification and can schedule pickup. No need to keep calling for status updates.
Buying the parts online?
Send them straight to us.
If you are ordering from Amazon, Newegg, Micro Center, B&H, Best Buy, or anywhere else, you do not need to collect eight different boxes at home and haul them all in at once.
After your build request is accepted, you’ll receive a build reference and delivery instructions. Put that reference on each order and every arriving component can be matched to your build as it lands.
Do not ship anything yet.
Wait until your build request has been accepted and you have your Circuit Craftworks build reference. Parts that arrive without one are difficult to match to an owner.
You own the hardware. We handle the build.
For customer-supplied builds you purchase the components directly from the retailer of your choice. That keeps the things worth keeping in your name.

Keep your receipts and order confirmations. Parts should arrive complete, with their cables, mounting hardware and adapters. Used or open-box hardware is accepted, but may need extra diagnostic work if something turns out to be wrong with it, and we cannot guarantee the condition or reliability of used parts you supply. If a component looks defective, damaged or incompatible, we stop and call you before going any further.

Never a surprise extra
Cable management, standoffs, front-panel wiring, fan curves, thermal paste that came with your cooler, BIOS updates, memory profiles and testing are ordinary parts of the job. They are in the price above.
What is genuinely separate
- The hardware itself. You buy it.
- A Windows licence, if you want Windows and do not already have one. Linux is free, and for a lot of builds it is the better choice.
- Moving your files from an old machine. That is a data service, from $99 — see data transfer & backup.
- Diagnosing or replacing hardware that arrives faulty, damage repair, case modification, or reworking someone else’s build.
Compatibility is more than matching a CPU to a motherboard.
A parts list can look fine and still cause problems once everything is physically installed. These are the details we go through on your build, using the exact models you bought.
CPU + motherboard
Socket and chipset match, whether the board needs a BIOS update to boot your CPU, VRM and power delivery for the chip you picked, and the headers the rest of the build needs.
Memory
Capacity, generation and speed against what the board and CPU actually support, how many modules and which slots, and whether the kit will run at its rated profile rather than dropping to a slower default.
Graphics card + case
Card length, thickness and slot count against the chassis, clearance from the front fans and drive cages, power connector access and cable bend room, and whether it needs a support bracket.
CPU cooler
Socket support and mounting hardware, cooler height against the side panel or radiator size against the mounting positions your case offers, clearance over the memory and the top of the board, and tubing or fan orientation.
Power supply
Wattage with sensible headroom for the card and CPU you chose, the right connectors actually present on the unit, form factor and depth in your case, and cable length and routing.
Storage, M.2 and SATA
How many M.2 slots and SATA ports you get, which ones share bandwidth with each other or with an expansion slot, heatsink clearance, mounting points for extra drives, and a layout that suits what the machine is for.
Cooling and airflow
Fan positions and how many the case can take, intake and exhaust balance, radiator placement where there is one, cables and drive cages blocking the path, and whether the system will hold its temperatures under real sustained load rather than a short benchmark.
Front I/O and connectivity
USB headers the case needs versus what the board provides, front USB-C, whether you need Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on the board or a card, audio, wired networking, and the front-panel connections themselves.
Cooling options we support
Most custom PCs do not need a complicated water loop. A good air cooler or a sealed AIO handles almost everything people actually build.
If your build includes an AIO, we verify radiator fit, mounting position, fan orientation, tubing clearance and overall case airflow as part of the build review.

Updates reach you by text or email as your build moves between these stages. There is no customer portal to log into yet, so nothing on this page is a live status board.
We don’t stop when it turns on.
A successful first boot is the beginning of testing, not the end of it. Before a build is handed back we check that it is behaving the way it should and look for the configuration, cooling and stability problems that show up in the first week rather than the first minute.
No amount of testing makes hardware immortal. What it does is catch the problems that are there on day one, while the parts are still inside their return windows.

Can I buy all my parts online and have them shipped directly to you?
Yes. After your build request is accepted you get a Circuit Craftworks build reference and delivery instructions, and you use those when you order from your preferred retailers.
Can I bring all the parts myself?
Yes. For a complete set of parts, a large case, or an existing desktop, schedule a drop-off so someone is here to receive everything and check it in with you.
Can I leave a full desktop in a locker?
Large cases and complete desktops use a scheduled drop-off rather than an unattended locker. Smaller components may be able to use other drop-off options depending on size.
Do you install AIO liquid coolers?
Yes. Standard sealed AIO liquid coolers are supported, and radiator fit, fan orientation and tubing clearance are part of the build review.
Do you build custom water-cooled PCs?
Not at the moment. We are not offering custom open-loop liquid cooling, hard or soft tubing, or pump and reservoir systems. Air coolers and sealed AIO coolers are supported.
What if one of my parts is incompatible?
If we spot it before assembly, we contact you before going any further. If it only becomes obvious during assembly or testing, work pauses so we can explain the problem and what your options are.
What if a new part is defective?
We document what we saw and tell you which component looks like the cause. Because you bought the hardware directly, the retailer or manufacturer return normally stays on your account, which is usually the fastest way to get it replaced.
Can you help me choose the parts?
Yes, that is the $299 service. Tell us your budget, the games and programs you use, your monitor, storage, noise preference, appearance and upgrade plans, and we build a compatible parts list around it. You buy the parts yourself.
Do you sell the parts, or mark them up?
No. You buy your own hardware from whichever retailer you want. That keeps the receipts, warranties, return windows and any rewards or financing in your name, which is where they are worth the most.
Can you finish a PC I already started?
Yes. Partly built systems and machines that will not POST go through Build Completion. There is a $109 bench diagnostic, credited toward the completion if you go ahead, and the completion itself is quoted once we know what is actually wrong.
Do I need to buy Windows?
Only if you want Windows and do not already have a valid licence. Linux is free and for most builds it is the better computer. Windows is the right answer if you need Microsoft Office, Adobe applications, a game with kernel-level anti-cheat, or a specific piece of industry software.
How long will my build take?
It depends on the build, on whether every part has arrived and works, and on what is already on the bench. The honest bottleneck is usually the last box in the mail, not the assembly. We confirm a realistic window with you when we accept the build rather than publishing a number here we cannot keep.
Can you move my files from my old computer?
Yes, but it is a separate service rather than something the build price absorbs. File transfer starts at $99 — see data transfer & backup for what is involved.
Who handles the warranty on each part?
The retailer and the manufacturer, in your name, because you bought them. We handle the workmanship of the build itself. Keep your receipts, order confirmations and packaging until you are confident the machine is settled.
