VOICE REQUEST
Tell us what’s going on
Describe the problem in your own words. We’ll ask a few follow-up questions so our team has the information they need.
Your microphone is used only during the voice request. Never share passwords, recovery keys, PINs, or payment information. We won’t ask for them.
Laptop problems are usually fixable.
Find the real cause first.
No power, overheating, charging trouble, damaged screens, keyboard problems, storage failures, crashes, and severe slowdowns can often be repaired for far less than replacing the entire computer.
You do not have to know what is wrong. A minute of questions and this page tells you which diagnostic to start with, what it costs, and what happens next.
PATH
Start with what the laptop is doing.
Pick the closest one. It starts the intake with that answer already chosen, and you can change it there.
Two testing levels. You are not asked to guess which one you need.
The diagnostic is paid technical work: reproduce the problem, narrow the cause, define the next step in writing. The difference between the levels is how much testing the fault demands.
Standard Diagnostic
One primary problem on an ordinary laptop, with behaviour that can be reproduced and tested normally.
- The laptop will not boot
- One charging problem
- An unusually slow laptop
- A noisy fan or overheating
- Windows will not start
More examples
- One recurring crash or error message
- A suspected storage problem
- One clear primary symptom
Advanced Diagnostic
Intermittent, load-dependent or multi-component problems that need extended isolation before anything can be said honestly.
- Random shutdowns or restarts
- Failure only during gaming or heavy use
- Several symptoms that may be related
- Intermittent charging or power
- A previous repair that did not solve it
More examples
- Occasional freezing that will not reproduce on demand
- Heat, power and stability concerns together
- Failure only after a long run time
- More than one component possibly contributing
- Extended thermal or stability testing required
The intake recommends the starting diagnostic from your symptoms and shows you the reasoning. If a Standard ticket later needs Advanced testing, you approve the difference only — $40 — never a second full fee. The fee is credited toward qualifying approved labor of $249 or more on the same ticket.
Answer what you can. We will tell you where to start.
A handful of questions, then the recommendation and the price. Model details and history come after booking, so nothing slows you down before you know what this costs.
Tell us what the laptop is doing and this takes about a minute. You will see the recommended diagnostic and its price before you are asked for anything else.
Fix the failed system—not just the visible symptom.
Laptop failures overlap. A charging complaint can be a battery, port, adapter, board, or software issue. The repair follows the diagnosis.
Cooling & fan service
Cleaning, fan replacement and thermal paste when heat is affecting stability.
Battery & charging repair
Battery replacement and charging-path work when power behaviour points that way.
Screen & keyboard replacement
Model-specific replacement for cracked displays and failing keyboards.
Storage testing & SSD upgrades
Health testing, replacement and SSD upgrades when the drive is part of the failure.
Operating-system repair
Repair or reinstall when software damage or startup failure is the actual cause.
Post-repair load testing
Tested under realistic load before handoff, not simply checked at idle.
Screens, charging ports, hinges, keyboards embedded in the chassis, unusually difficult disassembly and board-level work vary far too much between models for one responsible number. Those are quoted against your actual model after the diagnosis, and you see the labor and the part before anything is ordered.
Not everything that brings you here is a repair.
Two of the most common reasons people land on a repair page are not repairs. Both have their own service and pricing.
Improving a working laptop?
RAM, SSD, storage, cloning during an upgrade and general performance are handled where your exact model is checked for what it can physically take.
View Computer UpgradesFiles to protect or move?
Transfers, migration to a new computer, cloning and backup setup are handled on the data service, which assumes the source storage is stable enough to read.
View Data Transfer, Backup & MigrationIf the drive is not detected, clicks or grinds, throws disk warnings or will not open its files, that is not a transfer job — ordinary migration reads a struggling drive over and over. The intake catches those answers and routes to a failing-drive assessment instead. Clean-room and advanced physical recovery are not advertised services here, and recovery is never guaranteed.
Four steps, and you approve the one that matters.
The diagnostic is the only thing paid before anyone has seen the laptop. The repair is quoted afterwards and approved on its own.
Tell us what is happening
A few questions about the behaviour. Nothing is charged, and it takes about a minute.
Pay the recommended diagnostic
Standard or Advanced, whichever your answers point to. This is the only thing paid before the laptop is seen.
We diagnose and send the quote
Heat, power, storage and software, in that order, until the real cause is isolated. Then the findings, the labor and the parts.
You approve before any repair
No repair proceeds past the authorized diagnostic until you have said yes to a specific scope and a specific number.
Diagnostic orderHow we diagnose: heat, power, storage, software
Most laptop repairs fall into one of these systems. Checking them in a deliberate order keeps the repair focused and reduces unnecessary parts swapping.
Check heat and cooling
Cooling restrictions, fan behavior, and thermal symptoms are checked early because heat can create throttling, shutdowns, and instability.
Trace the power path
Battery, charging behavior, connector condition, and no-power symptoms are separated before a replacement part is assumed.
Test the drive
Storage health and performance are checked when the laptop is dramatically slow, freezes, crashes, or struggles to start.
Confirm the operating system
Startup files, drivers, updates, and the operating system are reviewed when hardware does not explain the behavior.
After the repair the laptop is tested under load before handoff, so the result is judged by stability and real behavior, not simply whether it turns on once.
Repair valueWhen a repair makes sense, and when it does not
Laptop parts vary widely by model. The practical recommendation depends on the failure, part availability, expected repair cost, and how much useful life the computer still has.
The laptop is still worth fixing
A specific failure can be corrected for a sensible amount and the rest of the machine still fits the work you need it to do.
One repair can also remove a bottleneck
When storage is involved, an SSD replacement or related upgrade can sometimes restore both reliability and everyday speed.
The repair no longer makes practical sense
If parts are unusually expensive, difficult to source, or the total repair is out of proportion to the laptop’s value, we will say so.
Clear expectations before the repair moves forward.
The exact repair depends on the model and diagnosis. These are the recurring questions behind most laptop service decisions.
01 · No powerCan you diagnose a laptop that will not turn on at all?
Yes. A no-power complaint can involve the battery, charging path, connector, board-level power, or another failure. The goal is to separate those possibilities before recommending parts.
02 · ChargingWhat if the charger only works when I hold it at an angle?
A loose or intermittent charging connection is a repair symptom. The connector and surrounding charging path need to be checked so the repair is based on what is actually loose or damaged.
03 · PartsAre replacement screens, keyboards, and batteries always available?
No. Parts availability varies by model. We will tell you up front when a required part is unusually slow to source or expensive compared with the value of the laptop.
04 · HeatCan overheating make a laptop look slow or unstable?
Yes. Heat can cause throttling, hard shutdowns, and instability. Cooling condition, fan operation, and thermal behavior are part of the diagnostic path when those symptoms are present.
05 · StorageCan a failing drive cause freezing or severe slowdowns?
Yes. Storage problems can contribute to slow startup, freezing, crashes, and instability, which is why storage testing is part of the diagnostic order when the symptoms point that direction.
06 · Repair valueWhat happens if the repair costs more than the laptop is worth?
We will tell you. The goal is not to force every technically possible repair; it is to identify the option that makes practical sense for the computer and the amount you would be spending.
07 · Diagnostic levelWhy did the intake recommend Advanced instead of Standard?
Because of something you said, and it is shown to you on the recommendation. Intermittent faults, failures only under load, several symptoms at once, and problems that survived a previous repair attempt all need extended isolation rather than ordinary testing.
08 · Diagnostic upgradeWhat if I paid for Standard and it turns out to need Advanced?
You are contacted before that work happens, told what was found and why deeper testing is needed, and asked to approve the difference only — $40. You are never charged the higher fee without approving it.
09 · PayingAm I paying for the whole repair now?
No. The diagnostic is the only thing paid before the laptop has been looked at. The repair itself is quoted after the fault is found and approved separately, and the diagnostic fee is credited toward qualifying approved labor of $249 or more on the same ticket.
10 · PasswordsDo you need my password to do this?
Not through this website, and we will never ask for a password, PIN or recovery key in a web form. If access is genuinely required for a repair, that is arranged with you directly when the laptop is checked in.
Tell us what the laptop is doing. We’ll start from there.
You do not need to know whether it is the battery, charging port, screen, storage, cooling or operating system. Describe the behavior and the intake works out the right diagnostic, prices it, and creates the job before you arrive.
Completing the intake creates the ticket and the next step. It does not authorize open-ended work.
