VOICE REQUEST
Tell us what’s going on
Describe the problem in your own words. We’ll ask a few follow-up questions so our team has the information they need.
Your microphone is used only during the voice request. Never share passwords, recovery keys, PINs, or payment information. We won’t ask for them.
Move the information.
Preserve what matters.
Moving to a new computer, replacing a drive, cloning a healthy system, organizing years of files, or setting up dependable local backup should begin with one question: what must remain safe and usable afterward?
The original stays intact while the destination is proven. No source erasure, formatting, duplicate deletion, or disposal happens as part of ordinary transfer without a separately approved path.
What are you trying to do?
Choose the outcome. We match it to the right service, show the labor price, and screen the condition of the source before anything is booked.
Flat labor pricing, published before you commit.
Data work is not priced by the gigabyte here. You pay for the service you actually need, and add-ons only appear when your own answers make them apply.

Installed programs are not files. Some applications and settings can be migrated or reconfigured, but many require reinstallation, activation, a license key, an active subscription, or a vendor sign-in. We identify what has to be reinstalled rather than promising that every program moves.
Answer a few questions and get your exact labor price.
Ten short steps. Every answer is kept with your job, so almost nothing has to be repeated at the counter. If your answers show a failing or inaccessible drive, we stop the ordinary transfer and route you to an assessment instead.
Step 1 of 10 · What you need
Different goals need different ways of moving data.
You do not have to choose the technical method yourself. The source condition, destination, and desired result determine whether the job is a migration, clone, selective copy, profile move, readable-drive transfer, or backup project.
New-computer migration
Move approved files, browser information, email archives, and selected profile data into a prepared new computer.
BEST FIT · REPLACEMENT COMPUTERSSD / storage cloning
Preserve a sufficiently healthy, compatible operating environment during a storage upgrade, then validate startup and capacity.
BEST FIT · HEALTHY SYSTEM + NEW DRIVESelective file transfer
Move the information that matters without reproducing years of clutter, caches, obsolete installers, or a damaged old environment.
BEST FIT · CLEAN DESTINATIONProfile & application-data migration
Rebuild practical access to bookmarks, email archives, templates, presets, local databases, and selected hidden profile information.
BEST FIT · USER ENVIRONMENTReadable-drive data access
Copy files from a drive that no longer boots normally but remains logically readable through ordinary tools.
BEST FIT · NON-BOOTING, READABLE SOURCEBackup & organization
Create a clearer folder structure, configure customer-owned local backup, run the initial backup, and test a restoration.
BEST FIT · LONG-TERM PROTECTIONBefore copying everything, confirm the source is safe to read.
A computer can still turn on while its storage is deteriorating, cloud files are incomplete, or protected data depends on an account or encryption key. The first decision is whether ordinary transfer is appropriate at all.
Stable and consistently readable
Ordinary transfer can usually proceed after the source, destination, capacity, and access requirements are mapped.
- Source remains detected
- No severe read instability
- Authorized access confirmed
Readable, but showing warning signs
Irreplaceable information should move first and optional cleanup should wait until another copy exists.
- Slow or inconsistent reads
- Unknown cloud / sync state
- Important data exists in one place
Physical-failure indicators
Ordinary scanning, cloning, and repeated power cycles can increase risk when storage is physically failing.
- Clicking or grinding
- Repeated disappearance
- Liquid, fire, or impact damage
The copy is not complete until the destination is verified.
A responsible migration protects the original, moves priority information first, documents exceptions, and proves that the new copy can actually be used and restored.
Keep it available until the destination is accepted.
The old computer or drive should not be formatted, repurposed, or recycled merely because a copying tool reported completion.
Skipped, unreadable, excluded, and cloud-only items stay visible.
A transfer is safer when missing or affected information is documented rather than hidden behind a generic “success” message.
Files can move cleanly. Programs and account-bound data may need another path.
“Move everything” is rarely one operation. Separating ordinary files from applications, cloud placeholders, encryption, and hidden profile data makes the finished system much more predictable.
Usually transferable
DATAMay require separate setup
REVIEWFive steps from question to handover.
- 01
Choose your service
Answer a few questions and the intake routes you to the right path, or to an assessment if the source is not healthy.
- 02
Complete the intake
Source, destination, size, condition, encryption and hardware, captured once and kept with the job.
- 03
Drop off or book on-site
Bring the devices, the chargers and the access you were told to bring. On-site is confirmed by coverage review.
- 04
We transfer and verify
The copy is not finished until the destination is checked: representative files opened, exclusions listed, capacity confirmed.
- 05
Pickup and handover
You get the system back, plus a written note of what moved, what needs reinstalling, and what stays on the original until you accept it.
Bring these and the job starts the same day it arrives.
- The old or source computer
- The new or destination computer, if you have it
- Power adapters and chargers for every device
- Any external storage that is part of the job
- The Windows or macOS sign-in you use on the source
- Your BitLocker or FileVault recovery key, if the drive is encrypted
- License or subscription details for software that has to be reinstalled
- A note of the folders or files that matter most
Not your password. Do not send passwords through this website, by email, or in the notes box. Access is arranged in person at check-in.
Hardware is quoted separately, and never bought without your yes.
Retail prices for SSDs and backup drives move week to week. Rolling a guessed retail price into a service price is how customers end up paying for a margin that protects the shop instead of them. So labor is labor, hardware is hardware.
- Compatibility confirmedA technician checks what your system actually takes, and what capacity the job needs.
- You get the exact model and the current priceNamed part, capacity, and what it costs today - not an estimate band.
- You approve it, or ask for another optionOne tap. Declining is a normal answer, not a problem.
- Only then is it orderedAnd if the price has moved by the time we buy, we come back to you first.
Your data is handled to do the job, and for nothing else.
Only what the job needs
Your data is accessed to perform the service you asked for. It is not browsed, copied elsewhere, or used for anything else.
Working copies are minimised
A temporary technician-side copy is made only when the method requires one, and it is removed under company retention policy once the migration is verified.
Credentials never travel through this website
This form has no password field and never will. Sign-in and recovery keys are handled in person at check-in.
The original stays intact
The source is returned unchanged by default. No formatting, deletion or disposal happens as part of a transfer - that is a separate service and a separate authorization.
Verified, not assumed
We confirm the data is present and openable on the destination before the job is closed. No drive, new or old, can be guaranteed against future failure, which is exactly why the backup service exists.
Drive not working normally?
If your computer will not boot, the drive is not detected, files will not open, or it is clicking, grinding or beeping, a standard migration is the wrong tool. Scanning and cloning a physically failing drive can take a recoverable situation and make it unrecoverable.
Leave it powered off and start with an inspection. The Data Recovery Assessment is $49: we examine the device and give you a written finding of what is actually wrong.
That fee buys the inspection, not the outcome. It is not the price of recovering your data, and it is not a promise that your data can be recovered — some drives are damaged past the point where anything can be read, and no honest shop can tell you which yours is before looking at it. If recovery is possible, that work is quoted separately and nothing starts until you approve it.
A copied folder is not yet a completed migration.
The destination should be understandable, representative files should open, transfer exceptions should be known, the backup should complete, and the customer should know what happens to the original source.
Destination review
Confirm the right profile, folder structure, and usable capacity.
LOCATE · STRUCTURE · CAPACITYRepresentative testing
Open priority documents, photos, videos, archives, and project files.
OPEN · READ · COMPAREBackup completion
Confirm the correct destination, selected folders, schedule, and initial status.
BACK UP · REVIEW · RESTORESource decision
Return unchanged by default; reuse, erase, recycle, or dispose only after approval.
RETAIN · ACCEPT · DECIDE01 · Starting pointDo I need to know whether I need cloning, migration, or backup setup?
No. Describe the devices, what must be preserved, where it should go, what is wrong with the source, and what the finished setup should do. The review can choose the appropriate path.
02 · Complete transferCan you transfer everything from my old computer?
Approved readable data can be moved, but “everything” should be defined. Some information may be hidden, encrypted, cloud-only, account-bound, damaged, or excluded by permissions.
03 · ApplicationsWill copying my files also move all my programs?
Usually not. Desktop applications often need installation, compatible versions, licensing, account access, plugins, fonts, or drivers. Application setup should be listed separately from file transfer.
04 · Failing storageCan you recover data from a drive that clicks or disappears?
That can be outside ordinary transfer service and may require specialist recovery. Repeated power cycles, scans, and normal cloning can increase risk when irreplaceable data remains on physically failing storage.
05 · Cloud storageAre synchronized cloud files already backed up?
Not necessarily. Synchronization can reproduce deletion or corruption, and some visible files may be online-only placeholders. Independent backup should be considered separately.
06 · DuplicatesCan you automatically delete duplicate photos and documents?
Duplicate review can be included, but automatic deletion is risky because similar files can contain meaningful differences. A safer process protects the originals first and moves potential duplicates for review.
07 · Original sourceWill you erase or recycle my old drive after the transfer?
Not automatically. Returning the original unchanged is the safer default until the destination and backup are reviewed. Erasure, reuse, recycling, or disposal should be separately authorized.
08 · TurnaroundCan a data migration be completed the same day?
Same-day completion is not guaranteed. Source speed, file count, cloud downloads, encryption, errors, organization, verification, and backup testing all affect turnaround.
09 · RecoveryDoes the $49 assessment mean you will get my data back?
No, and anyone who promises that before looking at the device is guessing. The assessment fee pays for inspecting the drive and giving you a written finding of what is actually wrong with it. Some drives are damaged past the point where anything can be read. If recovery is possible, that work is quoted separately and only begins once you have approved the price.
10 · ApplicationsCan you transfer my installed programs?
Some applications and their settings can be migrated or reconfigured, but many require reinstallation, activation, a license key, an active subscription, or a vendor sign-in. Circuit Craftworks identifies what has to be reinstalled and hands you that list rather than promising every program moves.
11 · TurnaroundHow long does a migration take?
It depends on how much data there is, how fast the source and destination are, the condition of the device, encryption, and whether updates or hardware are involved. A firm turnaround is given at check-in once the source has been seen, not before.
12 · HardwareIs the drive or storage included in the price?
No. The published prices are labor. If storage or a replacement drive is needed, we confirm what fits, send you the exact model and its current price, and order nothing until you approve it.
13 · Failed sourceWhat if my old computer does not turn on?
Then it is not a migration yet. It goes through a Data Recovery Assessment first so the device can be inspected before anything is attempted, because repeated power cycles and scans can make a failing drive worse.
14 · AccessDo you need my password?
Some migration work needs authenticated access to the account. That is arranged in person at check-in. Never enter a password into this website, and Circuit Craftworks will never ask for one by email.
15 · Cross-platformCan you transfer between Mac and Windows?
Usually yes for ordinary files. Applications and many system-level settings do not cross between operating systems, so those are rebuilt on the destination rather than copied.
16 · CloudCan you move my OneDrive, Google Drive or Dropbox?
We can configure the cloud accounts on the destination and bring supported data into sync, subject to your account access and the storage available in the plan. Note that a sync service is not by itself a backup.
17 · CloningCan you clone my old SSD?
Often, when the source is healthy and the destination is compatible and large enough. The intake screening decides whether cloning is appropriate; when the source is deteriorating, a selective transfer to a clean system is usually the safer result.
18 · The originalWill you delete the files on my old computer?
No. Nothing is erased as part of a migration. The source comes back unchanged by default, and any wipe, reuse or disposal is a separate service that needs your explicit authorization.
Tell us where the information is now. We’ll build the safest route forward.
List the computers and drives, the information that matters most, the intended destination, any storage problems, cloud or encryption needs, backup goals, and the real deadline. You do not need to know the technical transfer method.
Submitting a request does not authorize source erasure, duplicate deletion, account bypass, physical recovery attempts, recycling, or unattended drop-off.
