ABOUT CIRCUIT CRAFTWORKS · KATY & WEST HOUSTON

More than computer repair.
Technology built around you.

Circuit Craftworks is an independently owned technology workshop for diagnostics, upgrades, operating systems, custom PCs, data services, and private home systems. The standard is simple: solve the right problem, explain the choices clearly, and leave the customer in control of the final system.

SERVICE CHARTER

Five standards that apply to repairs and custom projects.

Whether the job is a failing laptop or a complete private system, the same rules should protect the customer's money, data, decisions, and long-term ownership.

01EVIDENCE

Evidence before recommendations.

Testing and compatibility checks come before replacing parts, prescribing a platform, or expanding a project.

PROVE THE PATH
02CLARITY

Plain-language decisions.

The customer should understand the problem, options, expected result, price, and important limitations.

NO JARGON WALL
03APPROVAL

Approval before expansion.

A new issue, part, service, requirement, or charge becomes another decision—not a silent addition.

SCOPE STAYS LOCKED
04OWNERSHIP

Customer-owned access.

Administrator accounts, recovery information, and critical credentials belong to the customer, not the installer.

NO LOCK-IN
05HANDOFF

Documented completion.

Custom systems should leave with useful records, known limitations, recovery information, and clear support boundaries.

CONTROL RETURNED
ONE RULE ACROSS EVERY SERVICEUnderstand the goal → define the scope → protect the customer's choices → verify the result.

HOW THE WORKSHOP OPERATES

Automation for convenience. Human judgment for the work.

Guided intake, tickets, approvals, updates, and handoff records reduce repetition without hiding the technician or replacing judgment where the decision matters.

ABOUT CIRCUIT CRAFTWORKSCommon questions about the company and service model.
01Is Circuit Craftworks only a repair shop?

No. Repair and upgrades are the everyday foundation, while Linux, custom PC builds, data and backup work, remote support, and private home systems provide the specialized side of the business.

02Is this a walk-in storefront?

No. Circuit Craftworks operates as an appointment-based private workshop. Begin with the guided service request so the correct service path can be confirmed before arrival.

03Can I track my repair or project without calling?

The service model uses one ticket for intake, approvals, parts/status information, testing, and readiness so routine progress does not depend on repeated phone calls.

04How are passwords handled?

Passwords should not be placed in the initial request or ordinary ticket messages. Temporary technician accounts and secure one-time credential handling are preferred when access is genuinely necessary.

05Who controls a private home server after installation?

The customer receives the primary administrator access and recovery information. Ongoing Circuit Craftworks access remains only when a defined managed-support arrangement is explicitly selected.

06Do you remove malware or repair phones and printers?

Those are not part of the focused launch service menu. The public offering centers on computer diagnostics, repair and upgrades, operating systems, data transfer and backup, custom PCs, private systems, and defined support.

07Can I pay cash?

Cash can be accepted during a staffed drop-off appointment and recorded on the ticket with a receipt. Unattended cash drop-off is not supported.

08Do you offer on-site service?

Yes, for qualifying projects where the customer environment is essential. On-site work is premium and project-based rather than a routine low-cost visit.
