SERVICE AREA · KATY & WEST HOUSTON

Local service within
a realistic reach.

Katy and West Houston are the center of the service area. Nearby requests are reviewed by location, service type, equipment, schedule, and whether drop-off, remote support, or a premium on-site project is actually the right way to solve the problem.

PRIMARY SERVICE AREA

Katy and West Houston are the default operating zone.

Customers in the core area generally have the broadest appointment options. Physical repair still normally uses staffed drop-off, while remote and on-site service depend on the actual problem.

The central service area for staffed drop-off, computer repair, upgrades, Linux and operating-system work, data service, custom PCs, remote support, and qualifying premium projects.

PRIMARY AREA

West Houston

The west side of Houston is within the practical core region for scheduled repair, remote technical support, home-office work, private systems, and defined custom projects.

DROP-OFFREMOTEPROJECT
CORE ≠ AUTOMATIC ON-SITE The service format follows the work.

A nearby computer that needs disassembly or extended testing may still belong at the bench. A location-dependent private system may justify travel.

NEARBY COVERAGE REVIEW

A longer drive should have a clear service purpose.

Nearby communities are not treated as a simple mileage radius. The request is evaluated by distance, type of work, device count, environment, schedule, and whether the same result can be achieved more responsibly through drop-off or remote support.

01DISTANCE

Travel time changes scheduling and cost.

02SERVICE TYPE

Hardware usually fits drop-off; environment-dependent systems may justify travel.

03REMOTE FIT

Some software, setup, and account work can avoid travel entirely.

04SCHEDULE

Travel consumes a larger block than a standard drop-off.

05SCOPE CLARITY

Device count, symptoms, access, and outcome make travel easier to quote responsibly.

SERVICE-FORMAT PLANNER

The convenient option is useful only if the work can actually be completed there.

The same request may use more than one format—for example, drop-off repair followed by remote setup, or an on-site private-system deployment followed by later remote support.

PRIMARY MODELAppointment Drop-Off

Controlled bench access

Best for laptops, desktops, gaming PCs, internal upgrades, hardware diagnostics, cleaning, operating-system work, data service, assembly, and extended testing.

  • Disassembly and parts
  • Thermal / power testing
  • Longer observation windows
  • No travel charge
BEST FOR PHYSICAL WORK
QUALIFYING ISSUESRemote Support

Internet-based assistance

Appropriate when the computer starts, has reliable internet, and the problem can be reached without physical access to the hardware.

  • Software and setup
  • Accounts and applications
  • Basic performance review
  • Follow-up support

PREMIUM PROJECTOn-Site Service

When the location is part of the problem

Reserved for substantial work involving the customer’s network, physical environment, several connected devices, or an installed private system.

  • Private-system deployment
  • Whole-home backup
  • Multi-device projects
  • Location-dependent setup
BEST FOR ENVIRONMENT-DEPENDENT WORK

TRAVEL-VALUE GATE

Travel is planned, not automatically assumed.

On-site work reserves more time than drop-off or remote support. The address matters, but so do project value, equipment count, access, work type, and whether the system can safely remain in place.

LOCATION REQUEST CHECKLIST

Six details make the coverage decision much easier.

The location alone does not determine the service format. Add the equipment, symptoms, environment, preferred method, and outcome that matters most.

SERVICE AREA & TRAVEL FAQOpen only what you need.
01Do I need an appointment before bringing in a computer?

Yes. Circuit Craftworks operates by appointment. Submit the service request first so the device, symptoms, starting service, and drop-off instructions can be reviewed.

02How much is the travel fee?

There is no single fee for every address. The amount depends on travel time, access, equipment, appointment duration, and service scope, and is discussed before confirmation.

03Does living in the service area guarantee an on-site visit?

No. On-site work must fit the problem, project value, location, and schedule. Hardware repair may still require drop-off.

04Can an on-site project always be finished in one visit?

No. A visit may reveal hardware that needs bench work, parts that must be ordered, or configuration that requires a later appointment.

05Can I request service outside the listed communities?

Yes. Provide the location and requested work. Remote support, customer drop-off, a larger project, or individually reviewed travel may still be possible.

06Does remote support depend on where I live?

Much less than travel-based service, but the issue must be suitable and the computer must start, connect, and remain stable enough for a safe session.

07Why do you need the service address before scheduling travel?

The exact address helps evaluate route, access, time, scheduling, and any applicable travel charge. A city name alone can cover a very large area.

08Can a travel appointment be changed to drop-off service?

Yes. If the work requires disassembly, parts, extended testing, or a controlled workspace, drop-off may be the more responsible path.

CHECK YOUR LOCATION + SERVICE FIT

Tell us where the equipment is and what needs to happen.

Submit the device, symptoms or project goal, location, environment, and preferred service format. Circuit Craftworks will review the request and identify the most practical starting path before an appointment is confirmed.
